A well-liked former WWE employee has reportedly been hired by AEW

In January of 2023, Adam Hopkins departed WWE after working as Vice President of Communications. Hopkins had been one of the longest tenured employees for WWE since joining the company’s Fans Services department back in September 1997. Hopkins was said to have been well-liked and was publicly praised by several people including Big E.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com was able to confirm with sources that AEW has hired Hopkins and described it as “a big backstage hire.” Johnson also noted the following…

“While we are not sure of the title, one would think that after all his years with WWE, Hopkins would likely be working on the PR side and helping that area of the company. Multiple sources confirmed Hopkins started last Wednesday at the Dynamite taping in St. Louis, so he’s already on the road for AEW.”
