The show opened with a video package of the Crown Jewel title traveling from Saudi Arabia to Perth, Australia. In the ring, Cody Rhodes cut a promo about his match with Seth Rollins while the CJ title was displayed in a case. Cody suggested that he might be Rollins’ Achilles heel, as he’s the one guy Rollins can’t beat. The crowd chanted “Seth is a wanker,” and Wade Barrett repeated the line after Cody threw over the microphone.

Backstage, Chelsea Green offered Stephanie Vaquer a spot in the Secret Service, but Stephanie threw the paper away. Stephanie then told Tiffany Stratton that she’d have her back in their scheduled tag team match.

Backstage, Jacob Fatu confronted Cody Rhodes about a potential future world title match. After Cody walked off, Drew McIntyre attacked Fatu. General manager Nick Aldis and officials broke up the assault.

Sami Zayn defended his United States Title against Shinsuke Nakamura in an open challenge match. Nakamura made his entrance using his old theme music.

Nakamura, who received a “welcome back” chant from the fans, gained early momentum with a sliding German suplex. Following the commercial break, the match went back and forth. Nakamura kicked out of a Michinoku Driver, then delivered a Kinshasa from the second rope but couldn’t secure the victory. During the second break, Zayn came back with a sunset flip powerbomb, but Nakamura kicked out again. Nakamura hit another Kinshasa, but Zayn was able to roll to the outside. When Nakamura went after him, Zayn gave him an exploder suplex into the barricade. Zayn delivered a Helluva Kick and got Nakamura back into the ring. Nakamura immediately hit Zayn with another Kinshasa, but Zayn got his foot on the rope. Nakamura went for another Kinshasa but was attacked by a masked man, causing a disqualification. The man unmasked as the returning Tama Tonga, and the entire MFTs (wearing white face paint) attacked Zayn. Nakamura tried to help Zayn, but the numbers caught up with him. There was a “f*** you, Solo” chant as the group stood tall over Zayn and Nakamura.

Backstage, Nick Aldis announced that Drew McIntyre would face Jacob Fatu next week. Fatu then attacked McIntyre, and officials once again had to break things up.

Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton faced Giulia and Kiana James. Stephanie gave Kiana the Devil’s Kiss right off the bat, forcing Giulia to tag in. Kiana helped Giulia gain the advantage, and Giulia delivered a back suplex to Stephanie on the floor. After a few minutes of Stephanie being worked over in the ring, Tiffany got the hot tag. Tiffany built up momentum, but Giulia and Kiana worked together to regain control. Giulia nearly had Tiffany beat with the Northern Lights Bomb, but Stephanie broke up the pin. After things broke down with all four women in the ring, Tiffany pinned Kiana with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss confronted Sol Ruca and Zaria. A future match between the two teams for the women’s tag team titles was agreed upon.

The Street Profits brought back their old entrance music for their tag team title match against Wyatt Sicks members Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis.

The Profits started strong, but the Wyatts soon gained the advantage. After the commercial break, the Profits made a comeback with a double blockbuster. Nikki Cross saved her team but was then attacked by B-Fab. After Dawkins hit a dive onto Rowan, Ford went for a Frog Splash, but Lumis pulled Gacy out of the way. Lumis and Gacy then hit The Plague to retain the titles. After the match, The MFTs confronted the Wyatt Sicks, and the fans chanted “holy s***.”

Backstage, The Miz called out Carmelo Hayes for “having the audacity” to leave him. Miz declared that “Melo missed.”

The main event was Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black in a Last Man Standing match. Priest gained the early advantage by using the steel steps as a weapon. The two brawled by the stage for a few minutes before returning to ringside. Back in the ring, Black hit Priest with a Meteora onto the steel steps. Priest managed to make a comeback and delivered offense with a kendo stick. Outside the ring, Priest gave Black a Razor’s Edge onto the table. Black managed to stand, but Priest gave him another Razor’s Edge through the table. After Black beat the count again, Priest took him into the crowd and placed him on top of a platform. Priest was about to finish off Black, but Zelina Vega appeared and shielded her real-life husband. Black threw a fireball into Priest’s face and followed up with a Black Mass that knocked Priest off the platform and through a table below. Priest failed to answer the count, and Black was declared the winner.
