Full WWE Smackdown results for March 28th 2025 from London, England

The March 28th 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown took place in London, England and aired live for international Netflix users. Here are the results from the show…

* Cody Rhodes was introduced to the ring by the new ring announcer, Mark Nash, and the crowd sang “Cody Rhodes.” Cody began to talk about John Cena, but then Randy Orton came to the ring, and the fans sang his song. Orton talked about Cody having “big-ass balls” to leave WWE and single-handedly change the industry. Orton reflected on Cody’s accomplishments since returning to WWE, including his Hell in a Cell win with a torn pec and finishing his story at WrestleMania. Orton said he was proud of Cody but noted that he is also coming for his 15th world title.

Drew McIntyre interrupted the segment and called them “nepo babies.” McIntyre told Orton to go to the back of the line for a world title, and the crowd started chanting for CM Punk. McIntyre claimed that Orton’s back was hanging by a thread, and Cody attacked McIntyre. Orton went for an RKO, but McIntyre escaped.

* The Street Profits defended the tag-team titles against Pretty Deadly. Pretty Deadly, wearing Union Jack colors, built up early momentum, and the crowd chanted for them. The Profits gained the upper hand, but then Wilson saved Prince from Ford’s frog splash by “taking the bullet.” Pretty Deadly hit the “Split Milk” double-team move on Dawkins, but Ford broke up the pin attempt. The Profits regrouped and scored the victory over Wilson with their Doomsday Blockbuster finisher.

* It was announced that Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from Wrestlemania 13 will be the first match inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and both men will be at the ceremony.

* In a pre-recorded segment, Zelina Vega (with Kayden Carter and Katana Chance) challenged Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice, referred to as “bootleg Men in Black” by Zelina, to a tag-team match.

* Carter and Chance had their match against Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. Niven took out Carter and Chance with a cannonball off the apron to give her team the advantage. However, Niven accidentally hit her partner with a senton, which gave Zelina’s team the chance to make a comeback. However, Chelsea Green provided a distraction, and Piper picked up the win with a Piper Driver. After the match, Zelina ran down to the ring but couldn’t overcome the numbers game from the Secret Hervice.

* In the next match, LA Knight defended his United States Championship against Braun Strowman. After a strong start for Knight, Strowman gained the advantage. Strowman went for the Strowman Express, but Jacob Fatu attacked him, causing a disqualification. Knight tried to hit Fatu with a BFT, but Fatu laid him out with a pop-up Samoan Drop. Fatu then continued to deliver punishment to Strowman, including two moonsaults.

* In a backstage promo, Jimmy Uso said Gunther can be defeated and vowed to win on Monday’s Raw. There was a verbal confrontation between Jimmy and The Miz and Carmelo Hayes. Jimmy proposed a match with Miz for SmackDown.

* Backstage, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga confronted Fatu. Fatu said he would be the last man standing against Strowman and would also win the United States Championship—”with or without” Sikoa and Tonga.

* A Naomi video package aired. An emotional Naomi claimed she was doing “the right thing” by attacking Jade Cargill. Naomi accused Jade of taking her place and said she always had Bianca Belair’s back, unlike Jade. Naomi stated that she was done being underappreciated and warned Jade to stay out of her way.

* Backstage, Jade Cargill warned General Manager Nick Aldis that she was going to get her hands on Naomi. B-Fab and Michin showed their support for Jade.

* B-Fab and Michin came to the ring for Michin’s match against Charlotte Flair, but they were attacked from behind by Naomi. Jade ran down to make the save for B-Fab and Michin. Jade helped B-Fab to the back and then had a brief staredown with Charlotte as Charlotte was coming to the ring.

* Charlotte had her match against Michin. Charlotte tried to immediately pin a weakened Michin, but Michin kicked out, and there was a “f*ck you, Charlotte” chant. Michin managed to have a competitive match against Charlotte and hit Eat Defeat, but Charlotte got her foot on the rope. After Michin went foot-first into the steel steps, Charlotte won by submission with the Figure-Eight.

* Backstage, Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was interviewed. Tiffany called Charlotte insecure for not letting a “rookie” speak last week. Using Charlotte’s words from last week, Tiffany said Charlotte would be losing to a “little girl” at WrestleMania 41.

* The next match was Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre in a back-and-forth encounter. Orton built up momentum and went for the RKO, but then Kevin Owens showed up at ringside. McIntyre hit a distracted Orton with the Claymore and picked up the victory. After the match, Owens attacked Orton, but Orton was able to fight back. Orton went for a punt kick, but Owens escaped through the crowd.

* Rey Fenix’s WWE debut was officially announced for next week’s Smackdown in Chicago, IL.

* Jimmy Uso had his match against The Miz. The Miz got in some offense, but then Jimmy countered a springboard clothesline with a superkick. Jimmy then pinned Miz with an Uso Splash. After the match, Jimmy spoke on a headset and said Gunther would go from General to Private on Monday’s RAW.

* Backstage, McIntyre was leaving the building when Priest attacked him. The two fought on a car, and Priest ended up giving McIntyre a South of Heaven Chokeslam onto the windshield. Priest said, “Rest in peace, jackass,” as officials checked on McIntyre. CM Punk walked by the car with a smile on his face.

* Nick Aldis hosted the contract signing for Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, which he called the biggest triple-threat match in the history of WrestleMania. Reigns (with Paul Heyman) came to the ring first to speak in his Head of the Table role. The crowd sang “Roman Reigns,” and Heyman joined in with the fans. Reigns signed the contract.

Rollins came down to the ring and talked about his history with Reigns as a team. Reigns tried to take sole credit for changing WWE, and Rollins said that mindset is why he has to keep “screwing” Reigns. Rollins said he’d need to clean up Reigns’ mess again and signed the contract.

Punk made his entrance. Punk used a Roddy Piper line by saying he was there to “chew bubblegum and sign a contract,” but he was all out of bubblegum. Punk looked through the contract while Reigns grew impatient. Heyman went over to Punk and said, “It’s in there,” revealing that the match is closing WrestleMania 41. An angry Rollins said Punk doesn’t deserve it and that it’s Reigns’ fault. Reigns told Punk that he’s the reason Punk is getting the main event at WrestleMania and wanted a “thank you.” Punk did thank Reigns but said it wasn’t the favor he was owed, and SmackDown went off the air.
