Full WWE Smackdown results for March 21st 2025 from Bologna, Italy: Wrestlemania matches confirmed

Here are the results from the show…

* Randy Orton came to the ring, but before he could cut a promo, he was interrupted by Kevin Owens. Owens, who was wearing an RKO t-shirt, said Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn deserved to be hurt, but not Orton. Owens said his anger with Orton had led to regret and forgave Orton for siding with Cody. Owens proposed that they team up for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 41.

Orton told Owens to shove the apology up his ass and said Owens’ new nickname is “Bitch Owens Bitch.” Orton said he heard voices in his head that told him he would kick Owens’ head clean off his shoulders at WrestleMania.

* The first match was Drew McIntyre and Jimmy Uso vs. Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura. Priest went right after McIntyre during McIntyre’s entrance. Nakamura went after Priest and Jimmy came over the top with a dive. Everyone got into the ring and the match officially started.

McIntyre and Nakamura worked over Jimmy until Priest was able to tag in. McIntyre saved Nakamura from being pinned and things broke down with everyone in the ring. Jey took out McIntyre and Priest was then able to pin Nakamura with the South of Heaven chokeslam. Mcintyre attacked Priest after the match and yelled, “I’ll kill you!” McIntyre then laid out Priest with the Claymore. McIntyre said he’ll keep putting Priest down until Priest stays down.

* LA Knight gave a pep talk to Braun Strowman backstage. Strowman revealed that the winner of the Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu match will get a United States title shot.

* There was a backstage sit-down interview with Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair. Charlotte immediately interrupted Tiffany and said, “The Queen speaks first.” Charlotte explained that she picked Tiffany for WrestleMania because she feels sorry for her and stated that Tiffany is not that special. Charlotte claimed that Tiffany would be lucky to have a job when she reaches Charlotte’s age. Tiffany responded by saying she is the woman to take Charlotte’s throne and that WWE runs on “Tiffy Time.”

* The next match was Jacob Fatu versus Braun Strowman. Strowman dominated the early moments, but then Fatu countered the Strowman Express by sending Strowman over the announcer’s desk.

After the break, Strowman was able to make a comeback and successfully hit the Strowman Express. Tama Tonga interfered, and then Solo Sikoa took down Strowman with a Samoan Spike, causing a disqualification. LA Knight ran down to make the save for Strowman. Knight versus Strowman for the U.S. title was confirmed for next week.

* Before the match, Liv Morgan cut a backstage promo and said Jade Cargill had made things personal.

* Backstage, an irate Jacob Fatu yelled at Solo Sikoa about the DQ.

* Zelina Vega vs. Piper Niven was the next match. Piper mostly dominated with her strength, aided by distractions from Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. Zelina managed to make a comeback and took down Piper with a Meteora. Zelina then hit a satellite DDT, and when Chelsea got on the apron, Zelina knocked her off. Zelina also knocked down Fyre, but was then pinned after Piper connected with a running crossbody.

* A John Cena video package aired.

* The next match was Jade Cargill versus Liv Morgan. Jade delivered a pre-match promo, and a “Mona Liva” painting was displayed in the crowd. Raquel attempted to create a distraction when the match began, but Jade maintained her focus on Liv. Liv and Raquel tried to walk out, but Jade pursued Liv and brought her back into the ring. Liv gained control following another distraction by Raquel.

After the break, Jade was able to counter Oblivion. Jade built up momentum, but then Naomi got on the apron. Naomi struck Jade with the women’s title belt, and Liv pinned Jade with Oblivion. Naomi attacked Jade after the match.

* In a backstage promo, McIntyre said he’ll see Priest in London next week. McIntyre ran into Seth Rollins as he was leaving the building, but no words were exchanged.

* The Street Profits, with new entrance music, came to the ring for a tag-team championship victory promo. Legado del Fantasma interrupted, expressing their desire for a title match, but then Pretty Deadly appeared and reminded Legado that they were the number-one contenders. The Profits then challenged Los Garza to a match.

* In the Street Profits vs. Los Garza match, Santos pulled down the top rope while the referee was distracted, and Dawkins was sent to the outside. Los Garza got in some offense, but then the Profits were able to make a comeback. Santos was knocked off the apron, and then Ford pinned Angel with the frog splash.

* Backstage, it was confirmed that Pretty Deadly will challenge the Street Profits on next week’s SmackDown. DIY said they would help Pretty Deadly win the titles in return for a title match, but they were turned down. The Motor City Machine Guns then confronted DIY.

* In the show’s final segment, Roman Reigns came to the ring for a promo with Paul Heyman by his side. Reigns talked about getting payback on Seth Rollins and CM Punk after what happened at the Royal Rumble. Reigns called out anyone to confront him which led to Rollins coming to the ring.

Rollins said Reigns should’ve let him finish off Punk. Rollins understood Reigns’ actions because it’s about the two of them. Rollins suggested that it was time to add another chapter to their story. Punk then made his way to the ring.

* Punk said he didn’t screw Reigns at the Rumble because it was every man for himself. Punk added that Reigns wouldn’t have made it to the Rumble if Punk hadn’t saved Reigns’ ass at Survivor Series. Punk brought up how he still had a favor and then attacked Reigns with the microphone. Rollins went after Punk, and there was a three-way brawl. Officials broke them up, and Punk pointed at the WrestleMania sign. The fight continued, and Rollins also pointed at the sign. Reigns used the steel steps on both men and then pointed at the sign as well. The three men kept fighting as SmackDown went off the air.
