205 Live show rebranded as WWE LVL UP
Prior to the February 15th 2022 edition of WWE NXT, WWE taped matches for a new show called LVL UP. WWE filed a trademark for the term on February 9th and and it will be replacing the 205 Live series. According to PWInsider.com, the decision to end 205 Live was finalized recently but had been in the works for some time.
Back in October of 2021, former WWE star Tony Nese talked about the company seemingly losing interest in 205 Live…
“This is my speculation, but it feels like Triple H didn’t care about it either. We were in this limbo of the show, it had to be booked, but they were just like, whatever, put whatever on and just move on. No matter how much we would fight, they were just like, have a good match and that’s it.”
