Wardlow issues statement regarding his return to AEW television after lengthy absence

As seen during the September 30th 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow made his in-ring return to AEW for The Don Callis Family vs. The Death Riders. It was his first match since the March 13th 2024 edition of Dynamite.

In a post via Twitter/X, Wardlow commented on his comeback…

“Bittersweet night. Extremely saddened by the loss of one the best wrestlers and humans I’ve ever met, but also after over two years, so incredibly happy to be home. Thank you AEW and thank you to everyone in the crowd last night in Pittsburgh for the love that was shown 🙏🏽.”
