Report: Pac was discovered slumped over in a vehicle prior to his death being confirmed

In a post via Twitter/X on September 27th 2026, AEW officially announced that Pac aka Neville passed away at the age of 40. According to a report from The California Post, Pac was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois (close to O’Hare International Airport) on Sunday.

Dispatch audio obtained by the outlet indicated that emergency responders were called to the scene around 4:00 PM. First responders described the situation as a “slumper” in a car and said they could not initially confirm whether Pac was breathing.

A witness told the California Post that restaurant customers spotted Pac in his vehicle and called 911. Some customers reportedly searched the restaurant for medical equipment to assist him before emergency personnel arrived.

A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Pac was pronounced dead at 4:08 PM. His cause of death is pending an autopsy.

According to DailyHerald.com, a Des Plaines spokesperson stated that Pac was alone when he was found. It was added that there were no indications of foul play or trauma, and his death did not appear to be suspicious.
