WWE signs a highlights deal with WBD’s Bleacher Report

According to Sports Business Journal, WWE and Bleacher Report have signed a new multi-year deal that includes global highlight rights for WWE programming. Bleacher Report is owned by TNT Sports, which operates as a division of Warner Brothers Discovery.

The deal will begin rolling out ahead of Money in the Bank, which takes place in New Orleans on October 10. WWE joins the NFL, NCAA, MLB, NHL, and NBA as major sports properties with formal partnerships with Bleacher Report.

B/R General Manager Bennett Spector led the deal for TNT Sports, while WWE Executive Vice President Alex Varga represented WWE.

“Bleacher Report and WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), have reached a new multi-year content partnership that will bring WWE’s biggest moments, Superstars and stories to B/R’s massive global audience of sports fans.

Per the agreement, Bleacher Report will hold global highlight rights across WWE’s programming slate, including Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT and WWE Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania® with content distributed across Bleacher Report, House of Highlights, B/R Wrestling – Bleacher Report’s dedicated wrestling brand – and their associated social and digital platforms.”
