Jack Perry defeated Katsuyori Shibata in the opening match. Afterward, Perry called out Samoa Joe, which led to Joe coming to the ring. Perry wanted a handshake, but Joe hit him with a headbutt instead.

In the second match, Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) defeated Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata. Skye pinned Mina with the Code Blue in her hometown of Chicago.
