Update on WWE’s plans for the Worlds Collide event in Chicago against AEW All Out
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE/AAA Worlds Collide will be taped rather than broadcast live. The show was originally scheduled to air live, but the plans have reportedly changed.
AAA announcers are not currently scheduled to attend, with JBL (John Layfield) stating that they were told they would record commentary at a later date.
There has been speculation that the event could be released as a special for Club WWE members, but that has not been confirmed. No reason has been given for the change in plans.
Meltzer stated that “the entire reason for the show was to hurt AEW’s PPV and live gate.” However, All Out at the NOW Arena is officially sold-out.
