What Triple H said to Dragon Lee backstage at WWE RAW in Mexico City
As seen during the September 14th 2026 edition of WWE RAW in Mexico City, Chad Gable defeated Dragon Lee to retain the Intercontinental title. In backstage footage posted to WWE’s YouTube channel, Paul “Triple H” Levesque stated the following to Lee about his match…
“Dude, f*cking badass. Hey, do me a favor, though. That table bump? Keep that sh*t special. That’s a now-and-then one. I need you here long term, not short term.”
This past week, Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted that Lee’s contract is expiring “fairly soon” but there is no further word regarding his status. In addition to his match on the September 14th RAW, Lee also wrestled on the September 21st episode.
