Breaking news: Stephanie Vaquer regains the WWE women’s world title in Chile

Liv Morgan defended the WWE World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer at Saturday night’s WWE live event at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, with Becky Lynch serving as the special guest referee.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced the match on Friday, citing Judgment Day’s interference on Monday’s episode of RAW and an incident at Friday’s live event in Buenos Aires, where Liv retained the title. Pearce stated that Becky would “call that championship match right down the middle.”

During the match, Stephanie was on the verge of winning when Becky was pulled out of the ring by Raquel. Becky attacked Raquel, and the match continued, but Liv accidentally struck Becky. With help from JD McDonagh, Liv used the Women’s Championship as a weapon on Stephanie. After Becky got to her feet, Liv shoved her, but Becky shoved her back. Stephanie then pinned Liv to win the title.
