Report: Multiple NFL teams reportedly interested in working with Danhausen
In June of 2026, TKO (parent company of WWE) put together a deal with Danhausen and the New York Knicks basketball team. This led to NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns appearing with Danhausen at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, the success of Danhausen’s connection to the NBA Playoffs has reportedly led to interest from the NFL. WrestleVotes reported that at least three NFL teams have inquired about potential promotional partnerships with Danhausen later this season, including possible in-stadium appearances.
A WWE source reportedly said the response to Danhausen’s New York Knicks merchandise run has been ‘unlike anything the company has experienced with a talent generating crossover interest from professional sports organizations,’ particularly within the NFL.
The expectation internally is that Fanatics will likely produce a Danhausen-NFL crossover merchandise line later this season.
