Rebel gets involved in Britt Baker’s match during AEW Dynamite

As seen during the September 9th 2026 “Rebel Heart” edition of AEW Dynamite, TBS & CMLL Women’s Champion Persephone, Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Hikaru Shida defeated Maya World, Hyan and Thunder Rosa in a six-woman tag team match.

Tony Khan presenting a check to ALS research organizations was shown before the match. Baker initially teased starting against Rosa but backed away, leading to Persephone beginning the match.

The match featured exchanges between both teams, with Baker repeatedly targeting Rosa and later getting involved in the action. Rosa eventually took control and chased Baker around ringside. During the closing sequence, Rebel appeared at ringside in her wheelchair to a large ovation and handed Baker her glove. Baker then submitted Hyan with the Lockjaw.

After the match, Baker sat in Rebel’s lap, and Rebel pushed her up the entrance ramp as both were visibly emotional while the crowd chanted for Rebel.
