AEW’s Ricochet responds to Paul Heyman: “We don’t answer to ‘Share Holders’ we answer to OUR fans”
During the August 17th 2026 edition of WWE RAW, Bron Breakker wanted to fight Oba Femi. However, he was stopped by Paul Heyman. Heyman then proposed a match for Sunday Night’s Main Event after he stated the following to Breakker…
“This is a publicly traded company. This is the biggest promotion on the face of the planet. We don’t just answer to the people live and to people at home. We answer to shareholders.”
AEW’s Ricochet responded to Heyman’s promo in a post via Twitter/X…
“We’re the Greatest Wrestling company in the world. So no we don’t answer to ‘Share Holders’ we answer to OUR fans. Because they’re the ones who deserve it. 🤷🏽♂️ 👌🏽”
Ricochet also responded to several fans who criticized his comments, including one who suggested he would eventually “come crawling back” to WWE. Ricochet replied, “You just keep following like a good little mark ass.”
