AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Kevin Knight took place at AEW Redemption 2026. Here are the highlights…

Knight jumped Omega during the introductions and held up both titles before choking Omega with his wrist tape. Once the bell rang, Omega was able to fight back as the two brawled on the outside. Back in the ring, Knight gained firm control as the crowd chanted, “f*ck you, Kevin.”

Omega was eventually able to get back into the fight, connecting with a V-Trigger. However, Knight was able to counter a One Winged Angel attempt. Omega followed it up with a snap dragon suplex on the apron. Omega then gave Knight another snap dragon suplex on the announce desk. Back in the ring, Omega trash-talked before delivering multiple knee strikes. However, Knight was able to counter Omega with a DDT.

The momentum continued to shift back and forth. Omega hit several big moves, including a V-Trigger, but Knight kicked out. Knight regained the advantage with a Coast-to-Coast. After using one title to distract the referee, Knight slammed Omega into the other, but Omega kicked out. Knight went for the UFO Splash, but Omega got his knees up. Omega connected with a V-Trigger followed by the One Winged Angel to retain his title.

After the match, the Death Riders attacked Omega. The Young Bucks tried to help but were outnumbered. After a chair was wrapped around Omega’s neck, Will Ospreay ran down and yelled at them. Moxley went for the stomp, but Ospreay shoved him and grabbed the chair. Moxley was able to get the chair away from Ospreay, and the two exchanged words.

Moxley pulled out a plastic bag and wanted Ospreay to use it on Omega. Ospreay teased doing it but ripped the bag instead. Ospreay then punched Moxley out of the ring and fought off the Death Riders. Ospreay picked up the belt and handed it over to Omega. Omega shook his hand, but Ospreay held on and had words for Omega. The two posed in the corners but then Omega laid out Ospreay with a One Winged Angel.
