Report: There are at least seven wrestlers that are “waiting” to be signed by AEW

With the 90-day non-compete clauses for several recently released WWE stars now expired, a new report suggests AEW could be preparing to sign multiple free agents.

According Jake Jeremy of F4WOnline.com, sources indicated that at least seven names are currently “waiting” to sign with AEW, although the identities of those talents and the timing of any deals have not been confirmed. One source added that there “may be more, but I only know of 7 personally,” suggesting AEW and ROH could be set for a wave of additions in the coming weeks.

Despite AEW’s already sizable roster, the report notes that the company may be looking to bolster its talent pool as it continues producing Dynamite, Collision, and ROH TV, especially heading into the All In: Wembley.
