Report: Enzo Amore will be returning to the WWE NXT brand “soon”

Last week, it was reported that Enzo Amore has been at the WWE Performance Center. In an update, Fightful.com noted that promoters have reportedly been informed that Enzo is no longer accepting the kinds of future bookings he would typically take, leading to speculation that he could be returning to WWE. Those promoters are said to believe a return to WWE may be in the works.

In an update on Enzo and Cass, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…

“The current plan has Enzo Amore to be in NXT soon. Nothing on Big Bill, the former Big Cass, is official or even talked about heavily in the company, but outside the company there is a lot of talk.”

Meltzer noted that Cass is in a situation similar to Chris Jericho, where the assumption is that someone being off AEW television for an extended period while their contract is nearing expiration likely means they are leaving. However, Jericho staying with AEW proved that nothing is ever 100 percent certain.
