Eric Bischoff responds to reports that there was an NWO reunion pitched for WWE in 2020
While speaking to the Public Enemies Podcast, former WWE writer Chris Dunn commented on an idea that was pitched during the COVID-19 pandemic for the New World Order faction to be brought back with new members including Sheamus, Cesaro, Nakamura, and Lars Sullivan. It was added that a “legendary NWO member” was going to introduce the group.
Former WCW President Eric Bischoff addressed the reports during his podcast…
“You know, it’s funny. I had a couple people — well, one in particular, Sean Waltman — reach out to me and say, ‘Hey, did you ever hear anything about this?’
I said, ‘I never heard anything about that,’ and apparently neither did Kevin Nash, according to Sean Waltman.
So the three surviving members of the New World Order knew nothing about it, which obviously makes me think we weren’t involved in it. That makes me think maybe there’s something lost in translation along the way here.
I don’t know, but it seems very unlikely for a lot of reasons. Yeah, it could just be silly internet stupid sh*t.”
