WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio announced as the new general manager of AAA
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was revealed as the new general manager of AAA during the May 23th 2026 live episode of AAA on Fox. The announcement was made by AAA President Marisela Peña, with several AAA talent present in the ring and at ringside.
Rey stated the following in a promo…
“It was 30 years ago that I crossed this door with a dream. AAA gave me what I had always asked for: one, just one opportunity. This is where I literally began, where I trained, and where I found a family. And today I return as general manager in order to give back to AAA and to all of you a little of everything you have given me. I say this to you with a lot of love: through all our history, together we will take AAA to heights never before seen.”
