Paige gets emotional in video about being cleared to wrestle for WWE again
As seen during WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday, Paige made a surprise return to WWE and had her first match with the company in over eight years.
Paige shared a video to Instagram from the moment she was cleared to wrestle again. In the clip, she stated the following…
“Yeah, I just got some great news. I am cleared to go home, back to WWE, so I’m very happy. And we got Chris over here, had my back the entire time.
But yeah, I just got overwhelmed with emotion because I was like, f*ck, it’s just been a long f*cking road for me, dude, just trying to get sober and sh*t. You know, putting the right people around me and sh*t, and it just feels good.
And I was stressing out, I was like, there’s no way they’re gonna let me wrestle again. There’s no way. I was really stressed out. But yeah, talking to him, and I was like trying to explain the timeline and like, please stop talking over me, I’m trying to explain.
It’s good news. I can like breathe now. I was f*cking stressed. I was like shaking and sh*t, you guys. This is what happens when you don’t drink anymore, so your anxiety is higher. Oh, we f*cking did it, dude. It was a long day today.”
