Brie Bella calls out the “stooge” that leaked Paige’s return to WWE at WrestleMania 42
As seen during WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday, Paige made a surprise return to WWE and had her first match with the company in over eight years. While speaking on their podcast, Nikki and Brie discussing the news of Paige’s return leaking on the internet…
Nikki: “So it was really, really hard, especially when I’m like walking even the red carpet at Hall of Fame and like the Paige stuff got leaked, and like I still have to keep going, and I’m like, this is so wild.”
Brie: “The Paige stuff got leaked from a stooge. I’m going to find out who, who saw us probably earlier in the week.”
Nikki: “It’s fine because it was still speculation, and you heard the reaction, which we’ll get into WrestleMania.”
Brie: “Sometimes just let things be special, and a secret runs and tells people. That’s even like—goes for like—I’m talking about people who have done this, to run to TMZ because they saw something they want to like break. I don’t know, someone’s personal life.”
Nikki: “Well, because everything’s about clicks and impression, so they want to be like breaking news.”
Brie: “And you didn’t break anything. And any news. And I will say this, it’s actually, it’s sad. So look yourself in the mirror and really think about what you do next time. I’m going to find that stooge though, because I remember everyone that was around.”
