Charlotte Flair reveals “unwritten rules” from the start of her WWE main roster career

While speaking to Sam Roberts, WWE star Charlotte Flair commented on what things were like when she made her main roster debut in 2015…

“Well, I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s like you had to change in a specific place. There were unwritten rules, and we hadn’t main evented WrestleMania, we hadn’t main evented pay-per-views, we hadn’t main evented RAW for three weeks in a row—it was just different. You can’t compare, right?

So like now when you come in, it’s just casual. It’s not that I want people to walk on eggshells now, but it’s very different. I remember when I came in—it was like you absolutely could not hit one move that someone else does, male or female.

Or wear someone’s color. So you couldn’t wear red because of The Bellas or even Eva Marie at that time. You couldn’t have studs because of Paige. It’s just different.”
