Breaking news: Chris Jericho makes his return to AEW during Dynamite in Winnipeg

The April 1st 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite opened with the return of Chris Jericho, who appeared on the stage after the pyro went off, accompanied by his old theme song “Judas.” Jericho milked the crowd reaction as they chanted “Holy Sh*t” and “Welcome Back.” Jericho simply said, “I’m home,” and then left the ring.

Last week, Jericho filed a new trademark for the term “Cornerstone,” fueling speculation that his in-ring return was imminent. On Monday. reports came out that he would be coming back to AEW instead of making a WWE comeback.
