Preschool director accused of spending at least $350,000 on WWE tickets with embezzled money

It was reported by NYPost.com that Murielle Misczak, director of the Kinderhaus Brooklyn in Park Slope, was arrested and charged with wire fraud, money laundering, and related offenses after allegedly embezzling about $2.75 million in preschool tuition between 2022 and 2025. Prosecutors say she diverted the money into her personal accounts and spent it on a lavish lifestyle, including travel, luxury goods, food delivery, and entertainment. According to a law enforcement source, she spent as much as $350,000 on WWE tickets, which included a VIP package to take her three kids to WWE RAW.

A lawsuit noted the following…

“[She] took frequent trips and vacations across the country – often every other weekend – enjoying plush resorts, VIP access to WWE events, and first class amenities, much of which she documented on her public Instagram and other social media accounts.”

Authorities allege Misczak spent hundreds of thousands on entertainment while covering up the scheme by manipulating the school’s accounting system and deleting incriminating emails. Despite earning about $40,000 a year, she allegedly lived far beyond her means and falsely claimed financial support from a wealthy family.

The scheme was discovered in October 2025, forcing the school’s principal to use personal savings to keep operations running. Misczak has pleaded not guilty, was released on bond, and faces strict conditions including surrendering her passport and wearing an ankle monitor.
