Damian Priest and R-Truth win the WWE tag team titles on SmackDown

On the March 20th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Damian Priest and R-Truth challenged MFTS (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo) for the WWE tag team titles. Tonga Loa and Tala Tonga got involved during the match, distracting the referee and creating an opening for MFTS to take control.

R-Truth eventually made the hot tag and fired up with a series of moves inspired by John Cena. He attempted the Attitude Adjustment on Tama Tonga, but Tama avoided it. Priest quickly stepped in to help Truth, and the match broke down into chaos. Truth locked in the STF on JC Mateo, but Solo Sikoa distracted the referee before a submission could be called.

Moments later, Tala Tonga chokeslammed Truth onto the apron. JC Mateo went for the cover, but Truth kicked out. The Wyatt Sicks then ran down to the ring and began brawling with MFTS at ringside. Uncle Howdy took out Solo Sikoa with the Mandible Claw, though Mateo managed to save him.

With the chaos unfolding, Truth capitalized by hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Mateo to score the victory and capture the titles alongside Priest. Pyro erupted after the match as the celebration began.
