Je’Von Evans addresses his RKO spot with Randy Orton from the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble

As seen during the October 8th 2024 edition of WWE NXT, Randy Orton defeated Je’Von Evans in the show’s main event. At the end of the match, there was a botched RKO spot. At the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Evans went for an OG Cutter that was countered into an RKO.

While appearing on the RAW Recap, Evans commented on the Royal Rumble RKO making up for the previous mishap…

“I actually was so messed up about that moment with me and Randy in our first match. It took me a couple of days to rewatch the match back because I was so embarrassed about it but sometimes we have to show the fans that this is real, bro. No matter what anybody says, no matter what we do, what we say, anything can happen. I could get hurt, I could mess up a move. Not everything is going to be perfect, but at the end of the day, we did it! Sometimes you’ve gotta take chances and see what happens, and that’s what I did, mission accomplished.”
