Rumor killer regarding construction of the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble venue in Riyadh

Last week, it was reported that a stadium is being built from the ground up for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following in regards to the construction…

“For those who have asked about an online rumor that the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will be delayed several weeks due to construction on the new outdoor arena in Riyadh being delayed, PWInsiderElite.com is told there is nothing to that story. We are told by multiple sources that the venue’s construction is very close to complete.”

Construction has continued to progress at the KAFD (King Abdullah Financial District) in Riyadh.
