The reason why Randy Orton wasn’t in attendance for John Cena’s final match

As seen during Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th 2025, John Cena lost to Gunther in his final match by tapping out. Most of the WWE roster was in attendance for the match, but there were notable absences.

Randy Orton, one of Cena’s notable rivals, was not at SNME because he was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the grand opening of MrBeast Land. Orton and his wife Kim appeared at the launch alongside several WWE stars, including Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Grayson Waller, and Omos. The group took part in activities at the park’s “Beast Arena” as part of Riyadh Season.
