AEW star Taya Valkyrie says wrestlers should make every second of television time count
On Sunday, it was reported that Nixon Newell (formerly Tegan Nox) and Miranda Alize walked out of the November 8th 2025 edition of AEW Collision before their planned match. During a Twitch stream, Nixon explained that their match was only going to be “three minutes” and they didn’t think it would benefit any of the participants.
While she didn’t directly reference the situation with Tegan and Miranda, AEW star Taya Valkyrie posted the following message via Twitter/X on Sunday night about the importance of having television time…
“At the end of the day, this is a business, it is our job. It doesn’t matter if you get 1 minute or 45, you make every second in front of those fans and on that TV count. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of the show. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and I’ve been in every position, good, bad, champ, enhancement…. and every single aspect of the show, small or big is important. Make it count ❤️ And that’s my Ted talk.”
