Seth Rollins confirms that he will be out of WWE action for six months after having surgery

As seen during the October 13th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, The Vision turned against world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins. The angle was done because Rollins suffered an injury at the Crown Jewel PLE. Rollins was stripped of his championship because he needed surgery.

After winning a battle royal on the October 20th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Jey Uso is scheduled to face CM Punk for the vacant title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rollins, who appeared on Good Morning Football with his arm in a sling, stated the following about the situation…

“I wish I could rip this thing off. I’m out of action for six months. My world championship is going to be worn by some schmuck, either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys.”

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about WWE having to change the creative direction for WrestleMania 42 season…

“Rollins being out changes all kinds of plans since the RAW brand was to be built around Rollins as the top heel through WrestleMania. The key question here is that will they go with Bron Breakker, months earlier than planned, for that spot, or do they turn Punk, Jey Uso or LA Knight to give that side depth.”
