WWE higher-ups were said to have been “very unhappy” about the AI creative story
This past week, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com that Cyrus Kowsari was recently hired as WWE’s new Senior Director of Creative Strategy. It was also noted that WWE is currently working with Writer AI, a platform trained on WWE content.
According to Meltzer, WWE higher-ups were said to have been “very unhappy” about how the recent AI creative story gained attention. At this point, it’s believed that AI will only serve as a writer’s assistant and Paul “Triple H” reportedly assured staff that no one would be replaced. However, it was noted that some people in WWE remain distrustful and writers are concerned that if AI replaces entry-level roles, it will reduce opportunities to train new creative staff.
Meltzer wrote the following…
“One person noted that they think the only thing holding back AI from behind used more in creative right now is that the ideas have been so bad. The explanation I was given is that the information to craft storylines given to AI are the company’s past, which is basically the history of Vince McMahon creative.”
