Report: WWE ticket prices have nearly doubled since the TKO merger in 2023
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com reports that the average ticket prices for WWE’s North American television events (RAW and SmackDown) have nearly doubled since the TKO merger in September 2023, according to data from Pollstar analyzed by Wrestlenomics. Prices began rising sharply in 2024 and continue climbing in 2025 after years of gradual increases.
While ticket prices across the wider live entertainment industry have remained mostly flat, WWE’s 60% jump from 2024 to 2025 far exceeds other major sports — surpassing even the NBA’s 21% increase. The analysis excludes international events, suggesting the rise isn’t due to global shows but rather to fewer domestic tapings and house shows creating greater ticket scarcity.
WWE’s ticket distribution and sales have continued to grow for the third straight year despite rising prices. In 2025, WrestleTix estimates show an average of about 11,500 tickets distributed per RAW and SmackDown event, up from 11,000 in 2024. Pollstar data supports this trend, showing roughly 12,200 tickets sold per event in 2025 — up from 11,400 in 2024, 9,800 in 2023, and 7,800 in 2022 and 2021. Even in the most recent quarter (June–September 2025), attendance remained steady year over year at around 10,800 tickets distributed, while the average ticket price rose sharply from about $75 to $118.
