Results of Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream 2025 (Sting returns)

Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley in a “I Quit” match took place at AEW WrestleDream 2025. Here are the highlights…

Darby placed the AEW flag in the middle of the ring, but Moxley kicked it away. Darby went after Moxley, and the fight quickly spilled to the outside. Marina Shafir grabbed Darby’s foot, allowing Moxley to gain the upper hand. Moxley used a steel chair as a weapon against Darby and then drove a skewer into his fingernail.

Darby went for a Coffin Drop on Moxley on the apron, but Marina pulled Moxley away. Moxley continued to deliver punishment, but Darby poured lighter fluid onto him. Darby also used the spray on members of the Death Riders, but Moxley took advantage with a Cutter. Moxley then grabbed a towel and wiped off the fluid. Moxley delivered a Paradigm Shift to Darby onto a chair.

Claudio entered the ring and press-slammed Darby over the top rope onto the announce desk. Moxley then delivered the Paradigm Shift to Darby off the apron through three tables below. Darby refused to quit when asked by the referee.

The Death Riders brought an aquarium into the ring and filled it with water. Moxley shoved Darby’s head into the water and told him to quit. When Darby refused, Moxley did it again.

The lights suddenly went out, and when they came back on, Sting appeared in the ring and attacked the Death Riders with his baseball bat. Sting then gave the bat to Darby, who used it as a weapon against Moxley.

Darby choked Moxley with the AEW flag and then hit the Coffin Drop. He then applied the Scorpion Death Lock, and Moxley submitted.
