Matt and Jeff Hardy win the WWE NXT tag team titles during “Showdown” event

As seen during the October 7th 2025 “Showdown” edition of WWE NXT, NXT tag team champions DarkState faced TNA tag team champions Matt and Jeff Hardy in a winner take all match. The Dudley Boyz, who will compete against The Hardys at TNA Bound For Glory, were at ringside to watch the match.

After Matt countered a Doomsday Device and hit Twist of Fates on Lennox and Griffin, Jeff tagged in and landed a Swanton Bomb on Lennox for the pin, allowing the Hardys to retain the TNA Tag Titles and capture the NXT titles.
