TNA Wrestling stars including Matt Cardona invade WWE NXT
During the September 23rd 2025 edition of WWE NXT, NXT Champion Oba Femi faced TNA World Champion Trick Williams in a title vs. title match. Mike Santana hopped the barricade to join commentary, and TNA stars such as Matt Cardona appeared in the crowd.
The finish came when Trick slapped Santana at ringside, sparking a fight that caused the referee to call for the bell. The show closed with NXT and TNA talent storming the ring for a brawl.
