Article on ESPN’s official website gives WWE Wrestlepalooza a “C” letter grade

The 2025 WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE, the first WWE event to air on ESPN, received mixed reviews from fans. As of Monday morning, Wrestlepalooza has a 5.56 overall rating on the Cagematch website.

ESPN combat sports reporter Andreas Hale gave the show a “C” letter grade. Here is what Hale wrote on ESPN’s official website…

“The excellent Vaquer vs. Sky match saved this show from being truly average. It was a phenomenal display inside the squared circle. Everything else was either underwhelming (the short Rhodes-McIntyre match) or a setup for a future match (Lesnar dominating Cena). For a card that promised to have epic moments, it fell a little short of expectations.”
