Andrade reportedly had “at least one wellness policy violation” during his most recent WWE run

After being moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website, it was reported that Andrade is no longer working for the company. It was later reported that Andrade’s departure from WWE “not a mutual decision.”

Jon Alba of SI.com was able to confirm Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com’s claim that Andrade’s release was a disciplinary issue. Alba provided further details…

“Multiple sources indicate to The Takedown on SI that Andrade had at least one wellness policy violation during his most recent WWE run. It is not known how exactly he was in violation of the policy, or whether or not he in fact tested positive for a banned substance (WWE can suspend talent for failing to produce a test). It is also not clear if it directly led to his release, but it was noted that he was suspended without pay as of a result of it.”

Alba added that Andrade was recently told to leave a WWE SmackDown taping and escorted out of the building in an action that was tied to the suspension. The situation was said to have disrupted major creative plans for his tag team with Rey Fenix.
