WWE re-shot the ending of SmackDown with John Cena being attacked by Logan Paul
The August 22nd 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown, which took place in Dublin, Ireland, ended with Logan Paul delivering a knockout punch to John Cena as Smackdown General manager Nick Aldis was speaking to Cena outside of the arena.
Two different versions of the segment aired as it was re-shot by WWE. During Netflix’s live stream for international viewers, Logan didn’t connect with his punch. In the USA Network broadcast, the camera angle was changed and Logan pushed Aldis aside before landing the punch on Cena.

Logan’s first punch barely connected so they went back and cleaned it up to make it look crisp
