Former WWE star believes that Karrion Kross’ contract expiring was legitimate

While speaking on his podcast, former WWE star Matt Hardy commented on the situation with Karrion Kross’ contract expriring…

“He’s very good at keeping his name in the headlines, I can say that. I like Kevin, I like Killer/Karrion Kross. I’ve never got to interact with him a lot, I’ve got to interact with him some. I got to work with him one time at Future Stars Of Wrestling, which is pretty cool. That was his home base and I would go out there and do quite a few shots back in the day. We had a fun deal that one time we worked out there.”

“We’ve never been at one place for a long amount of time together, but I’ve always been curious and intrigued by his process because he is a guy that does kind of push the boundaries of what is real, what is fake, what is fiction, and what is reality. He’s good at mixing that up in pro wrestling. I think he’s done a great job doing this because there’s a lot of people that were certain that this was a big work. I think with the way everything has gone down, I think his contract has expired. That’s my professional take on it just from looking at the scenario. It could be something bigger at play if that is the case and they’ve done this pitch perfect. I think it’s going to be really interesting to see how long his obsession from the fans is sustained. I think that’s kind of what the WWE is going to pay attention to as far as if they’re going to bring him back or sign him up or do whatever. I think that is kind of the most important issue in all of this, how long can this buzz around Karrion Kross be sustained. It’s going to be interesting. I mean, if I was him, I would get out there on the indies and I would start doing really unique stuff. I would try to make it seem like anything is possible if you’re Karrion Kross. All that’s going to do is get more buzz and he’s going to need ways to get more buzz on his name and keep headlines being generated about him.”

“I think it’s just going to come down to his momentum and this groundswell of fans that are behind him is sustainable to force WWE’s hand and make them hire him back.” (quotes courtesy of Skylar Russell)
