Report: “There has absolutely been talk” about having AJ Styles appear at TNA Slammiversary 2025

Earlier this week, Anthem Sports Group President Carlos Silva teased an appearance from AJ Styles at the 2025 Slammiversary PPV event. In an update on the story, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“In asking around among WWE sources, we can confirm there has absolutely been talk that Styles will be making an appearance this weekend. If you are hoping to see the prodigal son finally return home, I believe you will be happy if you order or attend Slammiversary.”

If Styles appears at Slammiversary, it will be his first time working with the brand since late 2013. Trick Williams, who is the current TNA world champion, commented on potentially having a match against Styles while speaking to PWInsider…

“I want AJ Styles. I told Atlanta that I’m the greatest TNA Champion of all time, and the audacity of that crowd to turn and say ‘AJ Styles’? Completely disrespectful. There’s only one way to get to the bottom of this. Gimme AJ Styles. Let me prove myself. Let me show everybody how legit Trick Williams is. That’s the one I want. Trick Williams versus AJ Styles.”
