Former WWE star wants to see Bill Goldberg win the world title from Gunther “just to irritate everyone”

During an edition of Busted Open Radio, there was discussion about Bill Goldberg’s upcoming retirement match against Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12th in Atlanta. Dave LaGreca and former WWE star Bishop Dyer aka Baron Corbin had the following exchange in regards to the booking…

Dave LaGreca: “You brought Goldberg back, why? If you’re only bringing him back for one match, it’s to pop a rating and to pop attendance. Well, right now they’re not sold out… if you’re not going to get a huge rating and you’re not going to get a sold out crowd, then why’d you bring Goldberg back?”

Bishop Dyer: “Put the title on him, baby. Let’s go. Just to irritate everyone. I mean, this is… I’m a naturally, I’m a bad guy… Goldberg winning the title… you imagine the meltdown people are going to have… Him and John [Cena] as champions, just four minute matches and that’s it.
