Fingerpod Of Doom
Episode 3 – 1-13 RAW REVIEW!
We dive into some current news that involves Corey Graves and his angry tweet towards WWE regarding his recent treatment which includes his demotion down to NXT. We touch on a few more things that take us into what was a fantastic episode of RAW.
We discuss the opening segment with CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre who are all in this year’s Royal Rumble match, and how this year’s Royal Rumble match feels stacked with a huge amount of talent.
We go over our allotted time (rumors!) talking about the debut of Penta, which could easily be called one of the best unkept secrets of all time. We rave about Penta and Chad Gable who had an incredible match that gave us everything we could’ve asked for in a debut match.
After that hot PLE caliber debut match, we jumped into the Sheamus/Ludwig Kaiser match that we’ve seen before. Both men didn’t hold back by laying it in hard and both men had more than a few welts when it was all said and done, but why was this booked? Don’t worry, we didn’t forget Bron Breakker confronting Sheamus.
Next up, we touched on Karrion Kross and The Miz randomly telling us that the Wyatt Sick6 group have been traded to SmackDown! out of nowhere. I guess their feud is done?
We let the world know how we aren’t that excited to see Jey Uso take on Gunther at next Saturday Night’s Main Event. We take a look at Jey’s upside but also might touch a few nerves with our realistic views.
The first ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion was crowned, and they definitely weren’t holding back. Costume designer time, Lyra!
Miz vs. Sami Zayn had a boring match, so we give Miz a hard time. Sami gets a few, as well – just to keep it fair.
A mixed reaction to the Rhea Ripley promo, with a potentially traded-to-RAW Nia Jax, who was wearing a full leopard body suit. To make things even more odd, Nia brings hometown hero Bayley into the promo and now we’re still stuck with more questions than answers. (Like when does the trade window thing stop? Or does it?)
JBL is back next week! What will he be doing? Royal Rumble? Does he have a target? There’s excitement in the air, and Clothesline’s From Hell to be given.
Damien Priest and Finn Balor hopefully ended their long running feud in an unrestrained Street Fight. We agree that both men looked fantastic and definitely didn’t hold back. We give our thoughts on JD and Carlito, as well as the War Raiders getting involved. The right man won, but we question if it’s actually over and what’s next for Damien Priest.
