Corey Graves reportedly not appearing on the January 14th 2025 edition of WWE NXT despite public tease

On Monday night, WWE announcer Corey Graves issued a public statement about his status with the company following his move back to the NXT brand. Graves later wrote that he would have “a lot to say” on the January 14th 2025 edition of WWE NXT.

Despite Graves’ tease for the NXT broadcast, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com confirmed that Graves will not be appearing on the show. Johnson noted that Graves was spotted this afternoon at the Orlando, FL Airport and was going through TSA to leave the city.

Johnson stated the following about the situation…

“There had been word within WWE for the last week that Graves wasn’t happy with being bumped off Raw and Smackdown for the NXT assignment, where he would be the third-man in the booth alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T. This morning, Graves tweeted again, trying to focus the energy he received overnight into interest into what he might say on NXT TV. Instead, it appears he won’t be saying anything tonight.”

For what it’s worth, Graves’ brother Sam Adonis wrote “Not A Work… 🫢🫣” on Tuesday afternoon via Twitter/X.
