Lyra Valkyria crowned the first women’s WWE Intercontinental champion on RAW

As seen during the January 13th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Dakota Kai faced Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever women’s Intercontinental champion. Lyra won the title with the Nightwing in a competitive encounter. After the match, Dakota hugged Lyra and general manager Adam Pearce put the title around Lyra’s waist. Pyro went off as Lyra celebrated with the fans.

Triple H wrote the following message via Twitter/X: “Congratulations to your first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion @Real_Valkyria. The beginning of a brand new legacy…in a brand new era.”
