Rumor killer regarding Triple H’s involvement in Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens storyline
As seen during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th 2024, Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal title. After the show went off the air, Cody started to cut a promo but was attacked by Owens and Owens gave Cody a package piledriver.
As Owens was leaving the ringside area, he was confronted by Paul “Triple H” Levesque. This led to internet speculation about Triple H potentially coming out of retirement for one more match. However, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda.com noted the following…
“I was informed that Triple H’s physical involvement following Kevin Owens’s post-match attack on Cody Rhodes at #SNME is only to elevate Owens as a heel, and the Cody/Owens feud is slated to continue. A Triple H in-ring return is not in the plans at this time.”
In March of 2022, Triple H confirmed that he will never wrestle again due to his health problems.
