WWE Smackdown sees viewership boost with Bloodline segment involving CM Punk
In the final segment of WWE Smackdown on November 22nd 2024, Paul Heyman returned and introduced CM Punk as the 5th man for the Original Bloodline’s team at Survivor Series: War Games.
Smackdown ended up drawing 1.578 million viewers with a 0.46 18-49 demo rating. Overall viewership saw a 22% increase and an almost 44% increase in the demo from the previous week. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com noted the following regarding the viewership…
“The conclusion of Smackdown last Friday on USA, with the Bloodline angle involving CM Punk, was the high quarter-hour in both total viewership and P18-49, peaking the show at 1.72M viewers, up 15% from the prior quarter.”
