Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos in a two out of three falls match took place at AEW WrestleDream 2024. Here are the highlights…

* The two went back and forth in the early moments as the fans started a “lucha” chant. Hologram hit a diving crucifix bomb off the top rope and then won the first fall.

* During the second fall, the two brawled on the outside of the ring. Mortos gained control and slammed Hologram onto the entrance ramp. Hologram regained the advantage with a moonsault off the top rope to the outside onto Mortos. Back in the ring, Mortos regained control and pinned Hologram with a lariat.

* In the third fall, Hologram gave Mortos a poisonrana onto the apron. Hologram came off the top with a dive but was selling his knee. Back in the ring, Hologram hit a diving foot stomp and then went for a 450 but Mortos got his knees up. Mortos hit another lariat but could not make the cover. Mortos gave Hologram an avalanche press slam but Hologram kicked out.

* Mortos hit another lariat but Hologram kicked out. Hologram came back with another top rope crucifix bomb but Mortos kicked out. Hologram was finally able to pick up Mortos and scored the victory with an airplane spin bomb.
