WWE announces that Ilja Dragunov will be out of action for up to nine months due to injury
At Saturday night’s WWE live event in Columbus, GA, world heavyweight champion Gunther scored a victory over Ilja Dragunov. As it turns out, Dragunov suffered an injury during the match.
As seen on the September 30th 2024 edition of RAW, it was announced that Dragunov will be out for six to nine months due to a suspected ACL tear injury. WWE shared video footage of Dragunov limping out of the ring at the live event.
