WWE Smackdown overnight viewership does lowest number since debuting on FOX

The overnight number for WWE Smackdown set a new record-low for the show’s viewership on FOX. Smackdown drew an average of 1.741 million viewers (0.40 18-49 demo) which is a decrease of 6.3% from the previous week’s number.

The previous record-low viewership was 1.777 million viewers from one year ago this week which was also the 4th of July holiday weekend.

Friday night television viewership was down overall with Smackdown coming in 2nd place in the 18-49 demo after the Stanley Cup Finals on NBC.

This was coming off Monday’s RAW which drew the third lowest viewership number in history and one of the lowest 18-49 demo numbers for the show. RAW last Monday drew 1.570 million viewers with a 0.41 18-49 demo.
